A stupid man who brought a loaded gun into the Orange County Courthouse house was arrested earlier today.
Matthew Gilbert Pennington, 25 years-old, was arrested by Orange County Deputies around 8.45 AM, for introducing a 9mm Springfield XD firearm into the Orange County Courthouse. Pennington told deputies that he had forgotten he had the firearm in his backpack and that he works as a security guard.
The recovered weapon was loaded with 16 rounds of ammunition. Mr. Pennington has been charged with possession of a concealed firearm and possession of a firearm in a restricted area.
