Senator Marco Rubio’s office is currently accepting applications for the Spring 2015 semester.

A description of Senator Rubio’s Central Florida Regional office internship is provided below.

State Internship Program: 

The state offices provide interns with a practical knowledge of constituent services. State office interns interact with the Senator’s staff and constituents on a daily basis. In addition to administrative duties, interns support office staff by addressing constituent concerns, working with federal agencies to resolve Floridian’s issues, participating in outreach efforts, attending local events, and assist the staff on special projects.

The program is designed to provide the knowledge, skills and tools that will assist our interns in all future professional endeavors as well as motivate the interns’ interest in public service.Rubio has eight offices in Florida. The Central Florida regional office is the main state office. The staff responds to all calls received through the statewide toll-free hotline. In addition, casework staff assists constituents with problems they are experiencing with federal benefits or programs like immigration, Social Security, Medicare, passports, taxes, military and veteran benefits.

The office is located in the heart of downtown Orlando and is open Monday – Friday from 8:30am to 5:30pm. Parking is not provided.
