On Tuesday, deputies released notes and letters written by the two teens who law enforcement said, gunned down Windermere police officer, Robert German early on Saturday morning.
Brandon Goode, 18 and his girlfriend, Alexandria Hollinghurst, 17, were found dead in bushes near Conroy/Windermere, after they fatally shot Officer German, authorities said.
Both Goode and Hollinghurst were reported missing and endangered the day before they fatally wounded Officer German and authorities were on the look for the duo. The couple left suicide notes behind and authorities say, the duo killed themselves, after fatally wounding Officer German.
In one of the notes to his parents, Goode expresses his sorrow for “all the pain and misery I have brought you both, not just now, but from these past few years as well.”
“I love you both so much. I love you with all my heart,” Goode writes. “Please don’t be sad, this is what I want now. I get to die peacefully with the woman I love, the woman of my dreams.” He also writes that he is engaged to his fiancée, Alex.
He writes, “My plan is pretty simple. Police don’t consider you a missing person/runaway till after you’ve been gone 48 hours, which would give us plenty of time to get to Clearwater. Then we steal a boat and sail down to Panama, which is a 4-day sail.”
In one of her letters to Goode, Hollinghurst declares that she is looking forward to turning 18 and that she is very excited for both of them.
“When I think about being 18, and living with you again, I keep getting butterflies. I am so happy to hear you’re getting a job. I hope it works out. I am so excited for us both,” she writes. She signs the letter “Mrs Goode” with several hearts drawn and writes, “Another day gone! I love you. I miss you. I need you. Goodnight my love.”
In another letter, Hollinghurst also writes about what will happen on October 29, 2014, presumably when she would have turned 18. The pair would “kiss a lot, cuddle, be close, get mcdonalds, go on dates, get married,” among other things.

Hollinghurst also slams her mother in another letter: “You are much too ignorant and self-concerned to even attempt to listen or understand.” She continues, “You are a waste of space, ignorant and a rotten C**T. I wish I were never born.”
Meanwhile, authorities were on the look out for Goode and Hollinghurst, as they had been declared missing and endangered. The couple was spotted at a Kissimmee Walgreens, as an alert had been put out for the pair, but when officers went to speak with them, Goode sped away.
It is unclear how the couple got to Windermere, as but on Saturday morning Officer German encountered the two as they walked in the area of Horizon Circle and Conroy-Windermere Road, a wealthy suburb near Orlando. Officer German was on routine foot patrol and judged that the couple looked suspicious.
Officer German called for back up and had provided his location, but when the first OCSO deputy arrived, he was lying on the roadway, mortally wounded. At the same time, shots were heard in the area.
Officer German was pronounced dead from a gunshot wound at ORMC.
Shortly after, law enforcement officers discovered Goode and Hollinghurst dead in some under brush near 9350 Conroy/Windermere Road. Investigators believe that the pair committed suicide. Hollinghurst’s family thinks she was murdered by her boyfriend, Goode.
The OCSO Homicide Unit is investigating the murder of Officer German.
