A man, attempting to cross Silver Star Road on Orange County’s westside, was struck and killed, Florida Highway Patrol said.
Dynesia Lucas, 30, the driver of a Ford SUV was heading eastbound on Silver Star Road, near Pine Hills Road, when she struck James Kemp, 37, who was attempting to cross the road.
Kemp, who was not in a cross walk, was transported to the Orlando Regional Medical Center, where he later died.
The crash, which happened on Wednesday, around 7:30 p.m., remains under investigation, troopers said.
