Last week, Edward Snowden, 29, leaked details of the NSA’s sweeping monitoring of phone call and Internet data from major companies such as Google and Facebook, igniting a debate on privacy rights and the limits of security programs in the wake of the September 11, 2001 attacks on the U.S.
