Kansas City police are looking into whether a 5-year-old girl was responsible for the drowning of her 18-month-old cousin in a bathtub.
The toddler told social workers she dragged the 18-month-old boy into the tub and drowned him because “he made too much noise” and “cried too much”, reports courthousenews.com.
Police initially believed the boy’s death on June 3, was an accident. Now, based on what the 5-year-old toddler told social workers, police are investigating the death as a possible homicide.
The Medical Examiner has not yet issued a cause of death.
