An Orange County mother who went clubbing while leaving her 3-year-old son at home alone has been arrested, after the boy was found wondering the streets.
Nicole Finnell, 24, the mother of the child, was taken into custody and charged with child neglect.
Deputy said, her Finnell’s son, Daniel, who was left at home alone, got out and was found not far from Hoffner Avenue, a major road.
After the child was spotted by two passers-by, deputies were called and the child picked up.
In the neighborhood, deputies found an empty house with lights on and a door open.
Finnell who arrived sometime after with friends in a car, attempted to drive away after seeing police. Shortly after the car was stopped and Finnell was taken into custody. She told police she left the child with a baby-sitter and had gone to the Cowboys bar.
Finnell was booked into the Orange County Jail on a $1,000 bond.
