3 Die after helicopter crashes in Orlando

Orlando police have identified the three people killed in the helicopter crash.  They are: Bruce Teitelbaum, the pilot; Marsha Khan, his wife; and Harry Anderson, a friend.

Three people were killed when a helicopter crashed into an Orlando home on Sunday afternoon.

According to Orlando Police Department, around 2:15 p.m., the helicopter crashed into a guest house located in the back of a residence at 722 Alameda Street.  The crash scene is about two miles west of Orlando Executive Airport.

All three persons on board the helicopter were reportedly killed. Their names have not been released.

Officials say, no one was in the guest house at the time of the crash and there were no injuries on the ground.

A fire broke out following the crash, causing power outages in the area, authorities also said.

The cause of the helicopter crash is unknown at this time.

The Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board are investigating.
