Homicide detectives arrested a 28-year-old man for felony murder of 13-year-old Rose Dieujuste. The young girl was brutally murdered on July 4th in an Orlando apartment complex where she lived.
Jerry Dorisme was arrested in the murder of Central Florida 13-year-old girl.
Deputies found the girl in a closet, partially naked, and she had been stabbed. She was barely alive when law enforcement arrived, and she was transported to a hospital but sadly succumbed to her injuries.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Office believes the young girl was on her way to visit another friend in a different building at the apartment complex when she was attacked. Her friend found her cell phone and shoes in a staircase, and reached out the the family.
The family was knocking on doors looking for the girl, and they discovered Rose unresponsive in a utility closet.
Local law enforcement thanked many in the community who offered assistance, including a witness who saw a heavy-set male leaving the complex where the girl was found.
