The U.S. Census Bureau is recruiting about 1,000 temporary, part-time census takers for the 2010 in several counties including, Volusia, Flagler and Putnam.
Census takers help locate households and conduct brief personal interviews with residents. Census takers will work right in their own communities and about 20 to 40 hours a week from April to July.
The Census Bureau requires all census takers to pass an employment test which contains 28 multiple choice questions and takes about 30 minutes to complete.
