Onx Homes recently held a groundbreaking event for On Villa Pass, a 200-single-family home community located in Mascotte in Central Florida, just west of Orlando. The development will be Cat 5 hurricane-resistant homes.
The development is the firm’s first Central Florida community and its fifth overall in the state. Each home will be built with Onx’s proprietary X+ Construction building technology, allowing it to deliver resilient homes in 30 days or less while outpacing the industry average of six to nine months through conventional means.
Three On Villa Pass community model homes were destinations for this year’s May Orlando Parade of Homes.
“As we deliver sustainable and resilient homes throughout Florida, On Villa Pass will continue to raise the standard in construction while also satisfying an immediate need for high-quality housing,” said Onx Homes Chief Operating Officer Ravi Bhat. “Each residence is designed with leading technology that celebrates a forward-thinking approach to home building, a process that we take pride in for every community.”
Located at 6462 Chorus Dr., Groveland, FL, 34736, the homes at On Villa Pass start from $380,000. The three and four-bedroom residences will feature options including two to three full baths, energy-efficient appliances, impact windows, and EV charging stations. Leveraging its tech-first, holistic X+ Construction process with the homeowners of the future in mind, each Onx home will come standard with the following:
- Core Foundation+: Monolithic engineered concrete foundations to protect against natural disasters.
- 3D Bathroom Pod+: Advanced engineered 3D pods combining mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems with fixtures and smart design features.
- Core Walls+: Built to withstand 175 mph wind loads, this structure provides specialized envelope insulation that absorbs sound, creating a quiet environment while also lowering energy bills.
- Staircase+: Concrete reinforced staircases built with prestressed beams, providing greater separation of sound and space between floors.
As 90% concrete structures, these homes save insurance costs because they are made of strong, durable, low-maintenance, fire-resistant concrete construction that lasts 100-plus years. The combined use of envelope insulation, energy-efficient materials and precise, tech-driven design also results in significant energy savings.
Homeowners also receive another 20% in value, with the base price including elegant, durable, low-maintenance quartz kitchen tops; spacious, luxurious, hygienic floor-to-ceiling bathroom porcelain tile with shower glass panels; a home automation system; premium high-quality, durable marble-finish tile flooring; and an EV charger with each home.
Onx Homes is also offering a launch promotion of a 5.5% fixed-rate mortgage and, for a limited time, a $16,400 closing costs credit.
The company has corporate and manufacturing facilities in Texas and Florida.
