Two Orlando teenagers are dead and one is in critical condition following a crash on Sunday on the I-4 near Lake Mary Boulevard.
Troopers say, 17-year-old Laura Grant was driving a 2003 Ford SUV eastbound on the I-4 around 11:25 a.m., when for an unknown reason she lost control of her vehicle, overturning at least once. Grant, who was not wearing a seat-belt, was ejected from the vehicle and died on the spot.
Edward Culberhouse, 19, a passenger in the front of the vehicle was also thrown from the SUV and was pronounced dead at the crash site. Troopers say, Culberhouse was not wearing a seat belt.
Elizabeth Harrison, 18, of Orlando, another passenger, sustained critical injuries and was taken to ORMC.
17-year-old Connor Geis, 19-year-old Hershall Keeton, and 17-year-old Alisa Pelton, all passengers in the vehicle, sustained minor injuries as a result of the crash. It is not clear whether they were wearing seat belts.
Toxicology results are being awaited to determine whether or not alcohol played a role in the crash.
Troopers say, the crash remains under investigation.
