2 Killers Arrested in Death of 13-year-Old

Daytona Beach police have nabbed two suspects in the fatal shooting of a 13-year-old boy on July 20th.

Daytona Beach Police Chief Mike Chitiwood, in making the announcement Thursday afternoon said that, Ronald Roscoe and Tarod Weaver, both 21 years old, had been arrested and taken to the County jail.  Both will be charged with first degree murder.

Police in their investigation are theorizing that, the shooting of the child resulted from a home invasion that went very wrong.  They are looking for two more suspects, Ervin Shipman, 21, and Carine Doctor, 27.  There could also be a third person involved in the murder.

Lloyd Robinson, Jr, was shot and killed when a bullet hit him in the face when he went to answer a knock on the door.  The boy’s father, Lloyd Robinson, Sr., who was also at the door, his arm was grazed by another bullet.

A reward of $10,000 is being offered for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the individual believed to be the trigger man.
