Sarasota County Sheriff’s deputies have arrested a teenager in connection with the shooting deaths of two British tourists in Sarasota.
The 16-year-old, who has not been named, was taken into custody on Sunday afternoon. He has been charged with two counts of murder.
25-year-old James M. Cooper and 24-year-old James Thomas Kouzaris, were found shot to death on Saturday morning close to The Courts public housing project in the 1700 block of Carver Court, reports baynews9.com.
It is not clear yet, whether the accused teen will be charged as an adult.
