Habitat for Humanity of Greater Orlando recently celebrated the home dedication of Orma “Teisha” Brown.
For more than a decade, Brown’s three teenage children have shared one room in the family’s two-bedroom apartment. Now, her twin girls and older son will have rooms of their own.
In addition to completing 300 sweat equity hours, Brown participated in nearly 20 homeownership preparedness classes.
All Habitat homeowners purchase their home and pay a zero percent interest mortgage.
