Sister Dorothy Sayers Receives Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice Award

Sister Dorothy Sayers, M.P.F., of Holy Family Catholic School receiving the Pro Ecclesia Et Pontifice Award from Bishop Noonan.

Sister Dorothy Sayers, M.P.F., received the Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice presented by Bishop Noonan on Sunday, November 4th at the Baslica of the National Shrine of Mary Queen of Universal.

The Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice is for distinguished service to the church. Sister Dorothy Sayers, M.P.F., originally from England, arrived in Florida in 1995 to become the first Principal of Holy Family Catholic School, and she has grown the student population to one of the largest in the Diocese of Orlando.

“I am humbled by this honor and absolutely love serving our community by enriching the lives of children.” Sister Dorothy Sayers, M.P.F. said.

Sister Dorothy Sayers, M.P.F., continues to lead the students by expanding the community and mission outreach efforts. She is known for her loving spirit and character.
