Ruth’s List Florida endorses Patricia Rumph for Orange County Commissioner

Ruth’s List Florida, the state’s only resource dedicated to recruiting and aiding Democratic women candidates, announced their endorsement of Patricia Rumph in the Orange County Commissioner District 2 race, lauding her ongoing commitment to stand up for Florida women and families.

“Patricia Rumph is an advocate for safer streets, for stronger communities and a dynamic leader who supports gender equality, women’s reproductive rights, and health care for all,” said Pamela Goodman, Ruth’s List Florida Executive Director. “The Ruth’s List community – now tens of thousands members strong – is excited to support her candidacy.”

“I am grateful to the grassroots aid Ruth’s List Florida provides Democratic women in Florida,“ Rumph said. “I’m proud to accept their endorsement and the endorsement of the tens of thousands of Ruth’s List members and supporters who believe like I do, that Florida’s leaders should stand up for women and families. As a single mom, having lived and worked here my entire life, I understand the concerns of the community—from the working person to the retiree. My commitment is to the citizens – making sure everyone receives the same access to opportunity.”

Patricia Rumph’s campaign adds she is a proud mother of four and grandmother of two and has dedicated her life to the protection and safety of Orange County citizens for the past 30 years.
