Pensacola Man Wins $1 Million Playing Gold Rush Limited Scratch-Off

The Florida Lottery announced that Earl Evans, of Pensacola, claimed a $1 million prize from the GOLD RUSH LIMITED Scratch-Off game at the Lottery’s Pensacola District Office.

The Escambia County resident chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $795,000.00.

Evans purchased his winning ticket from Publix, located at 8684 Beulah Road in Pensacola. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning scratch-off ticket.

The $20 scratch-off game, GOLD RUSH LIMITED, launched in September 2021 and features 32 top prizes of $5 million and 100 prizes of $1 million. Additionally, this ticket is filled with more than 33,000 prizes of $1,000 to $100,000. The game’s overall odds of winning are 1-in-2.65.

Recently, there have been many millionaire winners around Florida, including a Palm Beach County resident, a Miami-Dade County resident, a Tampa man, and a St. Lucie County resident. A Hendry County resident recently won $1,000 a week for life. A Polk County resident from Lakeland won $2 million from a scratch-off, among many others – including an Auburn, Alabama man and a South Carolina man. A Cape Coral resident also found a “lotto” luck with a $41 million jackpot win.
