Earlier today, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell reinstated Michael Vick, conditionally. Vick can participate in preseason practices, workouts and meetings. However, he will not be eligible to play in games until mid-October.
The Orlando Magic have signed free agent forward Matt Barnes, General Manager Otis Smith announced today. “Matt (Barnes) is a versatile player that fits very well with our style of play,” said Smith. “He is a good defender, can knock down the open shot and is coming off his best season as a pro. We’re happy to welcome Matt to the Magic family.”
Mayor Buddy Dyer, the NBA, Toyota, and the Orlando Magic will unveil Thurdsay, two refurbished basketball courts at the John H. Jackson Community Center.
