Habitat for Humanity Orlando has hired James Tyson as its vice president of development.
Family Promise of Greater Orlando (FPGO), a national organization committed to helping low-income families achieve lasting independence, announced today the appointment of its new Executive Director, Sharon Whitley.
Habitat for Humanity Orlando has launched its fundraising effort for “Women Build Week,” a volunteer-driven event designed to empower women to take action against poverty-level housing conditions. Habitat Orlando’s goal is to complement volunteer efforts by raising $100,000 – the cost to sponsor one Habitat home. The organization needs more fundraising teams to meet their goal for Women Build Week.
Newly launched “Trucks Across America” has selected Habitat for Humanity Orlando as the first organization to receive its services. The nonprofit provides trucks, trailers, drivers and gas to other non-profits at no cost.
