A man who robbed a woman at knifepoint after forcing her into an apartment on Orlando’s east side Thursday night, has been arrested.
Dennis Nino, 23, was taken into custody earlier today and charged with home invasion robbery and false imprisonment.
Police say, Nino forced the female victim at knifepoint into her apartment at the Venetian Place Condos located at 4630 Commander Drive. Once inside, Nino removed several items, then left. The woman had been out walking her dog just before 10:00 p.m., when she encountered Nino.
The victim told investigators she recognized Nino from the area and on Friday, police caught up with him in the Semoran Boulevard area. He was arrested and transported to the Orange County Jail.
In January 2012, Nino was arrested and faced similar charges to include, robbery and home invasion with a weapon, grand theft of a motor vehicle and false imprisonment.
