MD Anderson – Orlando announced Tuesday that it has hired five new physicians. They are:
Jeffrey Feiner, MD, specializes in plastic and reconstructive surgery, with an emphasis on reconstructive microsurgery and cutting-edge perforator flap breast reconstruction. He will be working closely with patients and physicians in the Breast Care Center. He completed his residency in the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at The Johns Hopkins Hospital.
Patrick Kelly, MD, PhD joins the radiation oncology department specializing in gastrointestinal and breast malignancies. Dr. Kelly is adept in several advanced treatment techniques, including Gamma Knife-based intracranial stereotactic radiosurgery, proton therapy for adult and pediatric cancers, and stereotactic body radiotherapy for gastrointestinal, lung and spinal tumors.
Susan Kelly, MD, joins the pediatric oncology department. She brings extensive experience in pediatric hematology/oncology and pediatric stem cell transplant completing fellowships in both at Duke University Medical Center. She has also served as director of the Pediatric Blood and Marrow Transplant Program at the University of Florida.
Mickey Liao, MD, joins the hematology/oncology department and will be working directly with cancer patients at Dr. P. Phillips Hospital and our new Health Central location. He completed a geriatric medicine fellowship and a hematology and oncology fellowship at UCLA and is fluent in entry level Taiwanese and Mandarin.
Dipali Trivedi, MD, joins the hematology/oncology department and will be primarily seeing patients at the MD Anderson – Orlando location at Health Central Hospital as well as at Dr. P. Phillips Hospital. Dr. Trivedi has extensive experience in benign and malignant hematology as well as breast cancer and has published work pertaining to breast cancer hormone resistance in metastatic disease.
