OUC on Tuesday began shutting off water at the luxury mixed-use Veranda Park development in the upscale Metro West area in Orlando, and the power could be next.
Residents and commercial tenants could soon be forced to leave the building, if all utilities are shut off.
Sources say that the developer, Kevin Azzouz, owes some $336,000 on his power bills to the company.
OUC said that Azzouz was given additional time to settle the outstanding bill, but that they not happen.
Back in May 2009, Azzouz, had filed a voluntary Chapter 11 bankruptcy petition for VP Phase IV Ltd., the entity that owns his 55-unit Offices at Veranda Park-Building 1500, in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida.
