Chris Johnson and Commissioner Tiffany Moore Russell will host the 2nd Annual “Gobble, Gobble” Turkey Give-Away to show their un-yielding support for the Mercy Drive community.
Just days before Thanksgiving, over 170 families affiliated with the Hal P. Marston Community Action Center will receive a free Thanksgiving holiday turkey courtesy of the Chris Johnson Foundation. This area was targeted by the foundation to ensure families living in the same community where record setting NFL Running Back, Chris Johnson, grew up would have a worry-free and festive holiday.
Free turkeys will be distributed to the Senior Citizen group, registered Head Start families, and members of the GED class at Hal P. Marston Community Action Center on Thursday, November 17, 2011 from 3:30 p.m. — 5:00 p.m.
