A West Side resident was shot in a possible drug robbery by an acquaintance, according to Orange County Sheriffs Office.
The victim while in his backyard, was approached and asked for cash. After demanding the money, the victim was approached by the suspect, and was subsequently shot.
Deputies respopnded to the scene with a forensics team. Suspect got away and is still at large.
The victim was transported to ORMC with what appeared to be non life-threatening injuries. Victims name has not been released
