Last Friday night, several suspects broke into a home on Rose Avenue shooting one of the residents dead, while leaving another wounded, Orange County Sheriff’s deputies said.
According to OCSO:
On June 25, 2010 at approximately 10:50 PM the Orange County Sheriff’s Office Communication Center received a 9-1-1 call in reference to a home invasion which occurred at 7855 Rose Avenue.
According to detectives, multiple armed suspects forced their way into the victim’s residence. During the incident two people were shot. One suffered a non life threatening gunshot wound and he was transported to a hospital for medical treatment; the other was pronounced dead at the scene.
The deceased is Shakir Blakely, 32 years, Orange County Sheriff’s deputies said on Monday.
Deputies remain tight-lipped and are releasing no additional information, as they continue with their investigation.
