A father, who was in a Brazilian custody battle to get his son for the past five years, arrived with the boy earlier this evening at the Orlando International Airport.
David Goldman and his son, Sean Goldman, 9 years old, landed in Orlando after a 9- hour flight from Rio de Janiero, Brazil.
Goldman was in a custody battle after his ex-wife took the child to Brazil and never returned. Ex-wife, Bruna Bianchi was expected to have taken the child for two weeks to Brazil, but remained there.
While away, Bianchi divorced Goldman and remarried and Sean and his mother remained in Brazil.
Last year, Bianchi died while giving birth to another child. After her death, the boy’s maternal grandparents took care of him.
Sean’s Brazilian grandparents handed him over Sean to his father on Wednesday, following orders from a Brazilian judge to do so.
Goldman and his son arrived on a chartered plane at Orlando.
