A suspicious fire on Monday on North Atlantic Avenue in Daytona has left two clothing businesses in ruins.
Detectives are continuing their investigation today into a huge fire which burned for several hours overnight in a strip mall in Daytona. They are trying to determine what caused the blaze which gutted two souvenir stores.
Many suspect that arson is behind the fire, and an eye witness told police that he saw someone throw something into one of the buildings before the fire started. This is yet to be confirmed.
The Fire Marshal is currently combing through the rubble looking for clues as to how the fire started.
