5th Annual Focus on Females Free Women’s Healthcare Symposium Introduces New Seminars

TAMPA, FLORIDA – The Focus on Females Education Foundation, Inc. will be hosting the FREE 5th Annual Focus on Females Women’s Healthcare Symposium on Saturday March 27, 2010 at the Tampa Convention Center in downtown Tampa. Doors open at 7:30am and seminars last from 9:00am until 4:00pm. Expert speakers are expanding their array of topics from physical health issues to include mental and financial wellness.

New additions to the agenda for the 2010 symposium include “Financial Wellness” with Kimberly Overman of the Financial Well, “Obesity in Women” with Dr. Wilfred Aguila, MD, and “Raising Your Kids Without Going Crazy” with Dr. Karen A. Goldberg, MD. Fitness classes offered at the 5th Annual Focus on Females Women’s Healthcare Symposium will include yoga, pilates, tai chi, Zumba fitness and more.

Attendees of this free seminar will enjoy the benefit of familiarity with common medical issues women face and effective prevention methods. The Focus on Females Women’s Healthcare Symposium is a dynamic and interactive environment where women can be educated on their medical concerns for themselves and their families, with no costs or appointment scheduling necessary. The Focus on Females Education Foundation, Inc. provides pertinent health information in an easy-to-understand language. Experts present information in a myth/fact format and also provide question and answer sessions

Health screenings by South University Nursing Students and chair massages will be available to attendees before seminars begin. University of South Florida President, Dr. Judy Genshaft, will be the keynote speaker. Live music entertainment will be provided by Crystal Blue featuring Leah Clark.
