Police have arrested a woman who they say struck and killed a bicyclist, then fled the scene of a crash on north Orange Blossom Trail on Sunday night.
A man, later identified as Steven M. Williams, II, 45, was riding northbound on Orange Blossom Trail, alongside the curb, when he was hit by a driver in an SUV, who had changed lanes.
Adriana K. Valenzuela, 27, the driver of the SUV, Â sped away from the scene.
Williams was pronounced dead at the scene by the Orlando Fire Department.
Working on a tip, OPD traffic and homicide detectives found the damaged SUV at a garage. Valenzuela was identified as the hit and run driver and arrested on Monday.
Valenzuela has been charged with leaving the scene of an accident involving death. Â She was booked into the Orange County Jail on a $10,000 bond.
