Why African Americans Should Get On The Donald Trump Bus

Come on Black America, deep down, you really want to support Donald Trump. You actually agree with him.

Can’t do it? Why?

It couldn’t possibly be that Trump is exaggerating about the train wreck of an economy that we find ourselves in.  Just ask yourself: are you better off than you were 2 years ago?

The immigration issue? We all know, as Coretta Scott King warned us, that amnesty has had a devastating impact on African Americans. Low wage, entry-level jobs that used to go to our young people are simply no longer available, unless of course, you are Mexican.

The China problem? They’ve hollowed out our economy to the tune of trillions. Make no mistake about it, the China miracle is a scam, disguised as an economic miracle but it’s actually a modern-day slave state.  A Chinese, college educated Millennial can expect to earn all of $2,500 annually. This is a miracle?

Of course The Donald is an asshole. But that doesn’t mean he’s a bad person. I actually think he’d admit to being an asshole, but would credit a large part of his success to his actually knowing when and when not to be.

If you didn’t like what he said about President Obama not doing anything for African Americans, I’d understand that, but he’s not lying. African Americans have been devastated by this President. Black America’s GDP has slipped every year he’s been in office.

If you want to defend Obama and lay the blame at the feet of the GOP, I’d caution you to recall his “stop whining, stop complaining” comments to the Black Congressional Caucus, and only weeks later promise Latinos an amnesty program in direct defiance of US immigration laws.

Let’s not forget that in the average American lifetime, spanning 80 years, one would expect to see 10 presidents if they were each reelected. Obama came right in after Bush. That’s 20% of an average lifetime.

How is your life expectancy going so far? The average 30-year-old African American has never known prosperity and only relate to upward mobility as a concept and the stuff of urban legends. Black unemployment is at record levels. Not so for Latino’s who increasingly benefit from the accomplishments of African Americans at their expense.

For those of you in urban communities, you only need walk in to a Latino grocery store to see what they think of young African Americans. They don’t hire them.

Of course, mainstream media will have you believe that Trump is a racist because of his comments on undocumented immigrants, which were taken out of context. Don’t believe them. Folks like Al Sharpton with his millions or even the Chris Matthews with his millions, are doing you a disservice when they’d have you openly work against your own interests.

Trump isn’t perfect. No one is. But he is passionate about putting America first, fixing this economy and dealing with the economic injustice which has a disproportionate impact on Black communities across this country.

Personally, I don’t need Trump to be a die-hard liberal. I just want someone, not tied to the traditional Democrats or Republicans who wants to fight for the people in this country. That’s good enough for me. We can do the rest ourselves.  I don’t need Trump to like me.

America has a racist legacy, it’s still racist. But, it has never stopped African Americans from making progress, growing our economy to $1.4 trillion dollars before the likes of Barack Obama.

We need to shake things up in this country. We really need things to change. We need to put the American people first. We need someone to come out and say the things that we all say to one another, but haven’t heard in years. We need to make America great again for the people who live in America.

And Donald Trump is the only one, well, besides Bernie Sanders who is actually speaking about that.
