The Science National Honor Society at Evans High School recently inducted 21 students into their ranks in a ceremony on the Evans High School campus. Former Evans Assistant Principal, now Principal of Acceleration Academy, Eddie Ruiz was on-hand as the keynote speaker.

The Science National Honor Society is a highly regarded nationally recognized organization which sets the highest standards for membership and participation. This is the first year Evans High School has implemented the Science National Honor Society and they are looking forward to many years of success with this organization. “Our world is changing and science and engineering are areas that will pay a key role in the global future,” says David Christiansen, Principal of Evans High School. “By recognizing students through the Science National Honor Society, Evans High School wants to value science achievement and support our vision as “A Place of High Achievement!”
