Target Offers UCF Freshmen Shopping Spree

What:

Which University of Central Florida freshman will win a once-in-a-lifetime shopping spree at the local Target store?  During the Target Mad Dash, one shopper will have just 12 minutes to race through the store locating special Bullseye-tagged items. The lucky winner will be able to redeem those tagged items for must-have electronics, organizational items, décor and much more. Students can enter for a chance to win the Target Mad Dash sweepstakes by visiting Target’s on-campus promotion during the University of Central Florida’s Welcome Week festivities, taking place on August 21.

The Target Mad Dash is a new addition to Welcome Week festivities on campus. On Saturday, August 21, college freshmen are invited to board a Target bus that takes them directly to a local Target store for a private in-store shopping event. Students who are away from home for the first time can stock-up on Back-to-College must-haves, all at great prices.

On-site activities and visuals during the event include:

Target Mad Dash 12-Minute Shopping Spree
Tailgating action including DJ music, fun games, prizes, grilling
Mars, P&G and Coca Cola sampling
Gift bags including coupons and other Back-to-College essentials

Note: this event is exclusively for college freshmen at University of Central Florida.

When/Where:

The Target store in Orlando, located at 325 N. Alafaya Trail, will be hosting this event on Saturday, August 21, from 10:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.

Students can enter for a chance to win the Target Mad Dash on August 21, between 7:00PM – 8:00PM at Target’s on-campus Welcome Week promotion. One lucky winner will be chosen at random at 8:00PM.

The Mad Dash will take place at the Target store in Orlando, FL and begin at approximately 9:45PM.
