Florida Department of Transportation Secretary Ananth Prasad met with local leaders throughout Central Florida today to discuss the stalled SunRail commuter rail project. Prasad kick off his discussion with the Volusia County Council members in Daytona Beach where some 150 persons attended the one-hour long workshop, with most expressing their support for the 61-mile rail line, estimated to cost $1.2 billion.
