OCPS Gears Up for Free Summer Food Program
Orange County Public Schools Food and Nutrition Services will be providing free meals to children during the summer in a number of locations, Monday through Friday.
What’s Next on School Menus?
Thirty food vendors will showcase more than 140 potential menu items at the Fifth Annual Orange County Public Schools Food Festival on Friday. Specifically for Orange County high school, middle school, and elementary students, the food festival is aimed at determining what could be the next items on school menus.

Senior Director of Food & Nutrition Services Lora Gilbert has received the Golden School Foodservice Director of the Year Award by the National Foodservice Achievement Management Excellence (FAME) Award program.
Orange County Public Schools expand Food Show
Orange County Public Schools Food & Nutrition Services will host their Fourth Annual Student Food Tasting Show on Tuesday, March 23rd and for the first time other school districts would be participating. Special guests and health and nutrition advocates, Orlando Magic Ambassadors Nick Anderson and Bo Outlaw will also join the students in tasting and judging.
