The Creeping Global Catastrophe, Sea Level Rise
A just released report by the Scientific Committee on Antarctic Research (SCAR) has said that sea levels are likely to rise by about 4 ft 6 inches globally, by 2100 as polar ice melts. The report says that warming seas are accelerating melting in the west of the continent. SCAR’s report come 50 years to the day after the Antarctic Treaty and a week prior to the opening of the UN Climate Change Summit in Copenhagen.
