Star Wars®: Where Science Meets Imagination Exhibit

 

WHAT:

Kids are on spring break and the parents have the week off—what is a family to do? Why, experience the blockbuster exhibit Star Wars®: Where Science Meets Imagination of course!

With less than two weeks remaining to see the most exciting exhibit in Orlando Science Center’s history, Star Wars: Where Science Meets Imagination is jumping to hyperspace and leaving this galaxy on April 7. Don’t miss your last opportunity to view and explore the out-of-this-world technologies seen in all six Star Wars films, how they were generated and the modern day work that may lead to real-life versions in the future.

There’s more than the theme park and the beach for Central Florida families to enjoy during spring break. Why not take them to Orlando Science Center where people of all ages can have fun and kids can keep their minds engaged.

STAR WARS®: WHERE SCIENCE MEETS IMAGINATION:

Developed by the Museum of Science, Boston in collaboration with Lucasfilm Ltd. and presented by Bose Corporation®, the 10,000 square-foot exhibit explores the fantasy technologies depicted in the Star Wars films, as well as the real science behind them, and the current research that may someday lead to real-life versions of the technologies seen in the film series. The exhibit includes extensive video interviews with filmmakers, scientists and engineers, and hands-on components, including two large Engineering Design Labs, where visitors can build and test their own speeders and robots.

COST:

Admission to Star Wars: Where Science Meets Imagination is $27 for adults and $20 for youth (ages 3-11). Tickets include access to Star Wars: Where Science Meets Imagination and all four floors of exhibits, unlimited educational films, one Hollywood feature film and live presentations.
