There is a certain hostility towards those in need here in Central Florida, and Orlando in particular. From Buddy Dyer to Teresa Jacobs, there is an unmistakeable indifference to the working poor in Orange County. Most of the working poor have these politicians and others to thank for their plight. These are the politicians who stumble all over themselves to give tax breaks to giant, publicly traded corporations in exchange for campaign contributions and low paying jobs.

These people know that a majority of Orlando jobs pay less than $10.00 per hour, but they’re indifferent.

We’ve received phone calls and emails for years asking whom to contact for help. Many mothers, in tears have begged for help when politicians and groups like the NAACP and Sam Ings and Tiffany Moore-Russell would not even return phone calls. We’ve helped nearly 80,000 Central Florida residents get the help they need when they needed it most at no cost, simply by providing these direct links.

West Orlando News Public Services was created to help local residents avoid the run around nonsense that seems to pervade every government office here in Central Florida. Its as if there is no one to assist our residents with the challenges of living in Florida during a recession.
