Seminole County School District names 2015 Teachers of the Year

Seminole County Public Schools (SCPS) announced Friday its 2015 Teacher of the Year Grade Level Winners. They are:

SCPS 2015 Elementary School Teacher of the Year

Keith Erickson, Layer Elementary

SCPS 2015 Middle School Teacher of the Year

Bridget Dycus – Rock Lake Middle 

SCPS 2015 High School Teacher of the Year

Elizabeth Jarzynka – Oviedo High

The district’s overall 2015 Teacher of the Year will be announced at the Teacher of the Year Celebration taking place on Thursday, March 13, 2014 from 5:15-8:00 p.m. at the Hilton Orlando/Altamonte Springs (350 S. Northlake Blvd., Altamonte Springs, FL 32701). The district-wide Teacher of the Year winner will then go on as the SCPS representative to be considered for the State of Florida’s Teacher of the Year.
