Orlando Magic Community Ambassador Nick Anderson partnered with NBA Cares and Rebuilding Together Orlando for a day of service to honor Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on Monday, January 16.
Anderson assisted in Tangelo Park revitalization efforts which included landscaping, maintenance and fresh paint along the entrance to the Park and at other locations throughout the neighborhood.
In addition, Anderson and volunteers helped one of the five families who will receive extensive home renovations as part of the NBA Cares All-Star Day of Service move out of their home in preparation for the critical repairs.
Improvements to five Tangelo Park homes will be completed as part of the 2012 NBA Cares All-Star Day of Service on Friday, February 24.
