Starting Saturday, April 19th, 2014 the Orlando Anarchy will kick off their 2014 season with the Women’s Football Alliance at their home field at Colonial High School!
All across America, women band together to play a game they’ve always been told they can’t. Welcome to the hard hitting, bone breaking, world of women’s tackle football. If you think women and football are a dichotomy, and cannot exist in the same sentence never mind the sport of tackle football; you haven’t seen the women of the Orlando Anarchy.
The offensive guard can hold off players twice her size.
The quarterback on this team can throw, and will make you “toe the line”; she is a marine.
And you may want to keep out of the way of the wide receiver and best looking offensive player on the field; she is an EMT .
That’s right. She. Each of these ladies is dedicated to the sport of football.
