Orlando Magic guard Jameer Nelson and volunteers from Chase and Evans Community School in Pine Hills teamed up recently at Evans High School to package 60,000 meals that were distributed to local families through Feeding Children Everywhere – a nonprofit organization.  More than half of the students in OCPS are food insecure, and the event was intended to drive awareness of the need to also support the local community through meal distribution.

Chase is a long-standing partner to Evans High School and the Pine Hills community. The bank is a founding partner to Evans Community School and supports local community organizations, including nonprofit partners in the neighborhood, including Boys and Girls Club, ONIC, Orlando Science Center, Children’s Home Society of Florida, City Year and United Way.

As an Orlando Magic Champions of the Community partner, the Magic supports Chase and their continual community efforts.
