Neighborhood Watch Captains Recognition Event

 

On Wednesday, February 6, 2013, at 1100 hours, Orlando City Commissioners and Orlando Police Chief Paul Rooney will hold a forum to recognize the role played by Neighborhood Watch Block Captains in helping to reduce crime.

Neighborhood Watch Block Captains have partnered with the Police Department and as a result, overall crime in the City of Orlando has been reduced by 4.5%, according to a statement by OPD.  They were instrumental too, in helping the City of Orlando snag 3rd place in the National Night Out Event sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch.
