A pedestrian was killed when a car ran over him on Wednesday night as he lay in the roadway on Colonial Drive, Florida Highway Patrol said.
Lee Noble, 68, of Orlando, was lying in the westbound lanes of Colonial Drive near Homefolks Drive in Orange County when he was run over by a Toyota SUV, driven by  Kayee Nowinnie, 62, of Winter Garden.
Nowinnie, traveling westbound, just before 9:00 p.m., was unable to see Noble lying in the road.
Noble was pronounced dead at the Orlando Regional Medical Center.
Troopers are working to determine whether or not alcohol played a role in Noble’s death.
The crash remains under investigation.
