Man Dead in Bed; First Winter Garden Murder in Over 3 Years

A Winter Garden man was found dead by his son early Friday morning, officials say, and there were some signs of robbery in the man’s bedroom.

Sylvester Wright was shot sometime after 11 p.m. Wednesday, Winter Garden Police said. He was found by his child, who had gone to see him.

Detectives say, Wright’s home was neat, but the bedroom in which he was found was ransacked. There appeared to be no forced entry into the back of the home, according to Myfoxnews.com.  No electronics were stolen, but some items were taken, they said, speaking to Myfoxnews.com.
