Magic Road Woes

Luke Ridnour’s 19 points led the Timberwolves past the Orlando Magic 90-75 Wednesday night.

The loss drops the Magic to (2-2) on the season and (0-2) on the road.

J.J. Redick had 16 points while Arron Afflalo added 12 points for Orlando.

The Magic shot just 35 percent, including 3 of 12 from three.

“I wish the rim would’ve opened up and that ball would’ve slid through it,” coach Jacque Vaughn deadpanned. “That always helps.”

First year coach Vaughn has his work cut out for him. It will take time for this young team to win consistently on the road.

I’m more disappointed in tonight,” Afflalo said. “We didn’t have the energy level or the effort to win tonight’s game.”

Timberwolves, 3-1 for the first time since 2001 used a 28-6 run that blew open the game.

Orlando will look to bounce back tomorrow night as they host the Brooklyn Nets, tip off set for 7pm.
