Orlando police will conduct a Joint Training exercise on critical incidents involving public transportation on September 4, in the parking lot of the old Arena site at W. Amelia Street and N. Parramore Avenue.
The training will include the SWAT Team, the Crisis Negotiation Team and the Emergency Services Unit, as well as LYNX.
According to a statement from OPD, there will be a significant police presence in the area, but no street closures are expected. Â The training exercise will begin at 8:30 a.m. and conclude at 1:00 p.m.
