A Kissimmee man who police say abused a 12-year-old boy, is now behind bars.

Jorge L. Ramos, 49, of the 2200 block of Bryan Street, Kissimmee, was taken into custody on Tuesday. He is charged with sexual battery on a child under 12-year-old.

The boy’s mother told investigators that her son told her he had been sexually battered by Ramos when he went to his apartment to play video games. He also said Ramos touched him inappropriately and that the abuse occurred numerous time over the past two years.

Although Ramos voluntarily came to the Kissimmee Police Department, he was uncooperative during the investigation, police said.

Ramos was arrested and taken to the Osceola County Jail.  He is being held without bond.

Police say, there could be additional victims.
