The Orange County Young Republicans (OCYR) hosted their 2008 Political Hob Nob on July 31, 2008 at the Rachel Murrah Civic Center from 5:30 to 7:30 PM.  This event was open to the public and Republican candidates from federal, state and local government were in attendance.

The Orange County Young Republicans is a grassroots organization for Republicans between the ages of 18-39.  OCYR’s mission is to increase awareness and voter activism in Central Florida.  Monthly meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday of every month at 6:30 PM at GrayRobinson in Downtown Orlando.

“I am very pleased with tonight’s results”, said Chief Tegg. “The Orange County Young Republicans organized a wonderful event. My campaign remains focused on the future and the necessary steps we need to take in order to combat crime and provide a safer and more secure community for the citizens of Orange County.”
