After waiting more than two years, Florida residents who have solar energy systems will finally get some of what they were promised.
On Tuesday, officials in the Department of Agriculture began sending out 8,800 rebate checks, the News Service of Florida reports. Â However, those checks will only be for 52 percent of the amount requested, as the program has run out of money.
